Ok, Dee and Karen, the ball is now back in your court. :-)

Tyson staring me down while I lick a long-missed bowl of chicken curry.
Umina
We drove up the coast and stayed in this cabin at the Ocean Beach Holiday Park in Umina for a couple of days.

The lorikeets showed up and demanded that we surrender the granola bar.

We also had ducks and wild turkeys.

What?

The whole trip was very cold then hot then cold... but the beach was lovely.

The photo doesn't do them justice but we went to the store and they had these massive red peppers, almost big as your head!
Jason and Sue's House
We had a great dinner with Kaz's brother Jason and his wife Sue. Jason cooked us three different types of curry, yay!

It's hard to take a selfie when someone has their finger in your ear. :-)

The "Lisa From America" Cookout

This is Tayla. She's
13 but you'd think she was 25 when you talk to her. Incredibly smart girl.
She begged me to say "oregano" in
my American accent.
She thinks it's hilarious that we say oREGano instead of
oh-reh-GAH-noh :-)

Gavin's best friend, Nick. Tayla's dad.

Jenna on the left and Kels on the right... super awesome chicks.

Jenna loves her some Gavin. :-)

They set up an open-pit fire
and the Maori fellas brought their guitars and everybody sang.
Not Maori songs, mind you, stuff like John Denver,
Neil Diamond, Elvis, Cat Stevens, old standards, etc.

The carport was set up to be an outdoor Living Room, complete with a leather corner couch. :-)

The amazing Gareth! Truly one of the nicest guys I know.

Jenna was walking around
pouring shots for everyone. I didn't have a glass so she poured
it into my mouth, so then everybody was getting shots
poured into their mouths. :-)

Deb, Gareth and Jenna

Maree with her daughter, Makayla. It was really nice seeing Maree, it's been a long time.

Kaz's cousin, Koren, on the right and her husband, Kieran. (That's a lot of "k's" in that sentence.)

Becky, Nick's wife, on the left with her best friend, Terry, from Canada.

Kaz's boyfriend, Joe, in the grey shirt.

Liam (nickname Google).

The blue stuff in the glass is bubble gum flavored icky stuff.

Sue and Kathy

The day after the party.
This is Waka, enjoying a nice chicken curry for breakfast... can you tell we all
like curry? :-)
Waka is a super nice Maori fellow who's been battling cancer
for years. He's a very deep person, I always enjoy talking with him.

Daddy-O
Leaving
Kaz and I always have our "last photos at the airport" shots. One day, I need to put them all together on one page.
